Tips for better business portraits.

“The first impression is the most lasting impression”.

“There is no second chance to make a good first impression”.

These quotes are especially true in business where a Professional Business Portrait is a major part of that “first impression”. Maybe it’s a portrait in a magazine ad, on a business card or on a web site. Many prospective clients see your business portrait long before meeting you face to face. This is why you should always have an up-to-date professional business portrait.

Tips for better business portraits.

Clothing…should fit the position you hold and be easily associated with your career.

Expression…whether full smile, pleasant, or more serious, it needs to fit the impression your trying to convey.

Background/Setting…may be a simple studio canvas or in a setting that visually speaks about what you do. This depends largely on the statement you are trying to make.

Target…who you are trying to reach with your message. When you know this it makes it easier to decide the first three.

When?  We recommend at least once every three years. Clothing, hair and overall looks change all the time. You should be easily recognized from your business portrait.

Men…if your session is late in the day and you tend to have a 5 o’clock shadow plan on a fresh. shave
