Christmas Sets
These are images of some of the sets we are offering this season. I have also included images of some of the props that will be available. Use these as a guideline when choosing outfits. As an example, coats, mittens and hats look great in our winter wonderland setting. Jeans and sweaters look good in out country setting.

Family Day at Smith Appleby
Pictured here are Cathy (our Pie Maker) and our daughter Melissa getting ready to serve some of the most delicious pies!
Cathy (one of my childhood friends) made the most delicious pies. She brought her award-winning Pineapple Blueberry Pie (1st place at the Foster Old Home Days Festival 2008!) along with an array of pies I had never tasted before!
Couldn’t wait to cut that first piece!
This is a view of the Smith Appleby House taken from inside the barn where we served the refreshments. At around 1:30 the sun actually came out and it stayed rainfree until our event ended! We lucked out!
Here is one of the views overlooking Georgiaville Pond! The foliage was perfect. We’re looking forward to seeing some of Gene’s scenic images taken that day on display at the studio.
Maggie (dressed in colonial attire) was wonderful! She gave tours of the house and did a great job. Everybody was so impressed of her knowledge of the history of the house and the people who lived there.
Emma and Ava by one of several fireplaces. Cute!
There’s Jane mingling with some of our guests!
There’s nothing like a chocolate chip cookie on a cloudy day!

Note the ceiling height. In most rooms it’s not much more than 6 feet.
Gene took this image of Maggie as she went out the garden to pick some vegetables. This may end up on our walls at the studio.
This dock is towards the back of the property. Visitors can bring their canoes and use the dock to put their canoes in the Georgiaville Pond. To say that Rhode Island is small is an understatement. Cathy and I were discussing this dock and how a boy scout had made this dock as their Eagle project. When Cathy got home after the event, she mentioned this to her 18 year old son David. Turns out David had helped his friend build this dock for his project. Cathy lives in Foster near the Connecticut border and had never even been to the Smith Appleby House before. Talk about a coincidence!
Images from the Class of 2009
Here are a some images from the Class of 09’s Senior sessions that we have done in the last few weeks. It’s always a challenge to create images that capture the unique personality of each senior but it is also the most satisfying when you really get it. Pass it on– Tell your friends that it’s not to late and that we are still scheduling appointments. And remember…at the end of the Senior season, one lucky Class of 2009 graduate will receive a $1500 gift card to the Apple Store!

A.D.O.P.T. fundraiser at Pet Supplies Plus
Here are some of the images from the fundraiser for A.D.O.P.T. which was held on Sunday, February 24th at the Pet Supplies Plus store in Cranston. Over $1200 was raised at this event in three hours! We thought you’d like to see some of the images taken that day. Chihuahuas were very popular this year. Gene probably photographed 7 or 8.
Pictured here is Billy and his dog. You may not recognize him but he has been A.D.O.P.T.’s “Official” Easter Bunny and Santa for many years. Thanks for all your help!
